Eric studied at the Landing School of Boatbuilding and Design where he completed courses in yacht construction and yacht design. He then worked for two years in the renowned design office of Sparkman & Stephens in New York City. While there he worked on designs for both power and sail and worked extensively with 3d models for manufacturing, rapid prototyping and visualization of vessels up to 55m in length.
Eric entered the field of architectural rendering full time in 2006. While with iomedia inc. in New York he worked on a variety of projects from 3d renderings of a single hotel room to crowd simulation and 3d modeling for the new 52,000 seat Yankee Stadium. A majority of his time at iomedia was spent as an in-house consultant to the Rockwell Group. There he worked daily with architects and interior designers in a fast paced studio creating renderings for client presentations and internal design visualization. Some of his many projects there included work in the areas of large retail development, hotel, casino, restaurant, mixed use development and public spaces.
